A year of Inkscapes - March

Here is my calendar panel for March. I wanted to try and capture a sense of things starting to tentatively green up. I have also added flying birds as geese often seem to fly at this time of year.

Inks are applied with a mix of Clarity Stencil brushes and round Ranger Ink blending tools and a lot of elbow grease! Sentiments were all positioned with the assistance of a MISTI stamp positioning tool.

Inks: Distress Inks: Bundled Sage, Iced Spruce/ Stampin' Up - Mint Macaron and Pistachio Pudding. Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Inkadinkado and Chocolate Baroque teasels, Inkylicious- sentiment, Stampscapes birds

  2. I love your soft grey flying geese & the way your crisp black sentiment stands out against the background. There's lovely depth in your foreground at the base of the design & the softer aerial tree branches further away. Absolutely lovely glowing inked panel against the black of the calendar itself.

  4. Hi Elaine, I stopped by to thank you for your kind words at my blog. We are heartbroken about the loss of our sweet fur boy. It was very difficult to say goodbye but we've been through it many times. He was a special cat. I hope you are doing well, Hugs, Shirleyxx
