Valentine's day

I saw this Memory Box die in the sale at The Glitterpot and it had to fall into my basket. We have had a tandem for many years as I can't ride a bike on my own! So we have some fun memories of our bicycles! I have so say it is while since ours has been out of the shed though!

This is a really simple design because my OH isn't keen on lots of fussy stuff!!! The tree behind the die cut is a Stamp Camp stamp, I coloured the little hearts with a Distress Ink Barn Door marker. The sentiment is from a new Chocolate Baroque set of clear Macintosh sentiments to work alongside their new Macintosh inspired stamps - you can find them here

  5. A lovely card, the simple colour scheme is perfect for highlighting the hearts on the tree. I haven't seen that tree stamp before, but it is a beauty. A great personalised card for your OH, hugs Judith xx

  7. The heart tree is a delight & the whole card is very Mackintosh in keeping with your font. I can well see why you needed that die-cut, especially as the image is so personal to you both. A lovely classy card without any frills perfect for your brief!

  9. Perfect card for your Hubby, Elaine. I love those Mackintosh sentiments which are exactly right for clean and simple cards.

I made a card for John but guess what??? With the scare that Izzy gave us a few days before and then her staying here that week, Valentine's Day was the day I took her home and I completely forgot to give it to him!!! Probably a good job as he didn't get me one either, lol!
