This is another card I made with the new clear stamps launched this month at Chocolate Baroque. This one uses the Periwinkle Corners.
I started off using the little Crafty Individuals fern masks in different greens to make my background. I overstamped in green Versafine with the periwinkle stamp and then added some highlighting with white Prisma pencil. I embossed the fairy from Gossamer Wings which is currently on offer as a Last Chance stamp because it is being retired and the words from the Artistic Affirmations set. These are embossed in green metallic EP onto green pearlescent paper and cut out. The final additions was some velvet Petaloo flowers and leaves that have a touch of glitter (or fairy dust!).
Hope you have nice plans for a cosy Easter weekend. Whatever you plan to do, keep warm!

The card has a lovely ethereal feel which suits the image beautifully. Happy Easter to you Elaine x
ReplyDeleteVery fairytale style on this card with the delicate floral stamping. Keeping warm doesn't appear to be an option at present but at least no snow here
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and lovely Elaine. Beautiful background. The fairy and the flower are lovely.
ReplyDeleteAlso your last card with the heart. Marvelous.

Gorgeous card Elaine, love the dreamy background & faerie! Have a great Easter, Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteWell this fairy must live at the bottom of your garden, because that's where the card reminds me of! I love this card Elaine, the layering is so pretty, and the green tones are lovely with those white highlights. The flowers make a fab finishing touch, Judith xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Elaine......I love it.

A Beautiful card, the background is stamped and coloured beautifully for your fairy. Definately looks at the bottom of a garden. Hugs x ChrisB
ReplyDeleteI love the background you created for her with the fern mask & the oversstamping of the periwinkle image looks terrific with your white highlighting. The effect of the embossing on the pearlescent paper is magical & I love the way that reddish hue in the flowers adds a touch of contrast to the whole.
ReplyDeleteJust delightful.

Ah, this is such a lovely card my friend and you know how much I love shades of green. The various layers of masking and stamping are right up my street too so this pushes all the right buttons for me. Perfect setting for the faerie too.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a lovely Easter weekend and dare I hope, you have a degree or two warmer than us.
Hugs
