One of the briefs for entries was a project in the Elusive Images signature colours of teal and brown. I decided to use a peacock theme, and used a DP from my Graphicus Guild pack from the Peacock Summer Party CD set and a stamp from the Peacock Fan themeplate. I embossed the image in gold detail powder on brown card, cut the panel out with a nestie scalloped rectangle die and matted the panel on gold card. I did the sentiment in the same way using a greeting from the Birthday Words stamp set. I added a turquoise ribbon and some large bronze brads.
On a more frivolous subject, anyone who knows me knows I love bunnies. I even seem to be growing them in my vegetable patch now!
I just had to share this cute vegetable (well I know its technically a fruit!).

Very classy card Elaine. Love your bunny's ears tomato. We have a "rabbit tree" on the motorway that passes near where we live, you would probably like that, but I think it can only be seen when driving along the motorway so not something I can get a photograph of.
ReplyDeleteTee Hee! love your Bunny Elaine and the card's not bad either, Lol! Seriously, the card is beautiful. Love the gold EP on the brown card and the overall effect is really classy.

ReplyDeleteA very elegant peacock! Lovely contrast between the richness of the printed paper and the plain brown card.
ReplyDeletePlanning on growing any other wildlife veggies in your plot? Next week I'll be watching out for any squirrel shaped marrows!
